Aperture creep

Hi all,

 

Just wondering if anyone has tried one of the Lens Bands to "lock" the aperture ring on those lenses that it is  a little loose. I'm curious if the diameter of the XF lenses is too small for the band.

 

I am constantly knocking my 56mm aperture ring to a different setting. The 14 and 18-135 are fine.

If you feel the need for one, just DIY it from the bicycle's inner tube.

That's an interesting idea. I have two flat bicycle tires right now - all I need is a pair of scissors

 

I found a different conversation that indicated the LenBands were about 5mm too large for the Fuji lenses. Also found one that suggested an O-Ring rolled in the aperture ring crack (well - they were talking zoom ring but I think the idea is basically the same.
