XT10 not working

My XT10 decided to stop working randomly. When I turn it on the shutter fires multiple times, but the curtain remains closed. I can't access the menu or any buttons on the camera or take pictures. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also the led on the back of the camera flashes red several times

Thanks! I have the same issue, but I have tried cleaning the lens and the body contacts to no luck

I am guessing you do not have another lens? Can you rent or borrow one from your local camera store?

Have you had any luck in finding a solution? I have exactly the same problem with my X-T10 (shutter fires when I turn it on, red led flashes, no button works then apart from the read pictures, and I cannot take any picture nor change any setting).

Any information on how you solved your issue would be a great relief!
