Hi again!

 

Here is a few pics from l'Épreuve du Nord, a SAE mini-Baja endurance race. The Engineering Department at Laval University has been hosting the northernmost race in the circuit for the last 11 years, it's also the only one to take place in the snow !

It's the second time that I get a chance to shoot this really amazing and gruesome 2 hours event, out of the 27 Bajas on the starting line only 14 will make it to the end!

      X-H2S Dead After Firmware 7.20 Update via App

      I got my X-H2S back from Fujifilm Canada, where I sent it in due to a firmware-related issue. They "repaired" it at no charge, which I appreciated — but now it's come back with a completely new issue and is basically unusable. As soon as I attach any lens, the screen starts blinking for about a minute, then shows a “Lens Error” message. I’ve tested it with three different lenses, with and without a memory card, and the result is always the same. The problem only goes away when no lens is attached. This issue didn’t exist before the repair. It was returned to me marked as fixed, but now it’s even worse — I can’t use the camera at all.  Video showing the issue: https://youtu.be/ki7oHViDwsQ

      X-T50 single point focus SLOWER than X-T3???

      I've been using an X-T3 for years... Now I just decided to give an X-T50 a try, mainly for IBIS and supposedly better autofocus... As light goes down it is much worst, I started to notice it immediately!
