x-pro 1 and x-m1 don't accept latest firmware

hi everybody, i signed up today :-)

the trouble i have with getting FW 3.50 on my X-Pro1 and the similar version 1.30 on my X-M1 is that

both the cameras mention: "latest firmware is already installed"

Which is not the case off course, all previous updates went perfectly.

Did you hold the display button down while turning the camera on to check which firmware is actually installed?

 

Also, check that you are installing into body firmware and not lens firmware.

have you formatted the SD card?  All versions have the same file name so must be deleded before downloading the next version.
