Hi everyone,

I have to admit that i didn't search yet for a solution to my problem myself. I'm just posting my question for the experts here. Thought that would be quicker 😄.

What i want to do:

I want to make pictures with long exposure times (1,2, 4min...) & I want to change my light during the exposure.

At that moment my shutter should be closed again while i make my changes.

So i need to be able to pause my shot while i run through the image.

The interval function is a good solution but afterwards i have separte pictures. And then i need to (try to) combine them in photoshop afterwards. Photoshop is not my friend.

So, is there a HDR kind of solution where you can program a pause between shots?

ow, and i'm working with the X-pro 2. 😀

Thanks in advance for your tips.

You may find some good results with these, or, get closer to what you are trying to achieve:

Affinity Photo has a module for creating HDR images, this is a run-through example:

The person that built Starry Sky Stacker and Starry Landscape Stacker also has a program for long exposure stacking:
