8randyn reacted to Jose Carpin in Red foxes playing
Hi folks,
Last sunday I was shooting big raptors such vultures, kites and eagles. We left some carrion in front of the photo hide to attract them.
Suddenly two beautiful young foxes came from the bush and ate some carrion. After this they started playing in front of me. They were about 15 meters far from me. Fortunately I was shooting with the Fuji XF100-400mm, so I got enough close to them.
You can see more pictures on my website: www.josecarpin.com

8randyn reacted to chphoto in Silverstone 24hr with the 100-400mm
I headed over to Silverstone on Saturday afternoon to shoot the Hankook 24hr Race with my new 100-400mm on my X-T10. It was a great experience and the kit worked superbly well, despite the challenging conditions...

8randyn reacted to robertd in First outing with the 100-400 (XT-1)
Hi All,
my first posting here, since leaving m43 and later Sony. Wanted a good zoom and 16+ megapixel setup, so I can not wait for the XT-2. For now the 100-400 is coupled with the XT-1. Had a wonderful time in the coastal area in Holland, waterleidingduinen it is called.

8randyn reacted to Tom H. in Views from my office
And some more, Fuji X100T and X-T1, last shot is Athens at night with the sky above, 3.5 seconds exposure, hand balanced on the windscreen, ISO 6400 and 16mm at f1.4... Heavy on the noise reduction, this was shot on a moonless night at 37000ft.

8randyn got a reaction from CRAusmus in Xpro1 still worth buying? (06.15)
If you've got an iPhone running iOS 9, then their Lightning to SD card adapter will work to import photos on the go.

Alternatively, you could use a WiFi SD card. I prefer the Toshiba FlashAir, as you can connect to it with your phone and only transfer the images you want, similar to how WiFi in my XT-1 works. The downside of the WiFi SD card is that your battery life will suffer.
