Why do so many of you read Rockwell's reviews and then declare that he is always 'crap' or some other derogatory term? You keep rereading them and keep declaring them irrelevant.
OK, I get the point, but just remember that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. I don't read his reviews having done so
once or twice. There are a few excellent and generally objective review sites out there. Why not stick with them? It's time to bring this thread to a merciful end.

He is comparing it to the X100 and not the 100T, so you are talking about apples and oranges. I had an X100 and have an XPro-1. There is no comparison as the XPro-1 is much faster. I find that it is on a par with most mirrorless cameras of the same period as when the XPro-1 was new. It's true that with some lenses the focus is slower but many cameras display the same inconsistency from lens to lens. I replaced the X100 with a fine used Leica X2 which focuses faster than most cameras on the market now. But for versatility, IQ, handling, ergonomics and steath for street shooting, the XPro-1 can't be beat. I am looking forward to the promised XPro-2 before I consider ever replacing my beloved XPro-1.
