Auto-focus ? Nope. Clicked Aperture ? Nope. Heavy ? Nope. Expensive ? Nope. Affordable, light-weight, produces great images ?! YUP !!! Forgot why and when and where I bought this lens, but I was always looking for a lens that could give the Fuji...any Fuji really, something different...something special. Filmic almost.. And somehow I settled on the Meike 25mm 1.8 ! Yup, random I know...but this thing is special. I think in 35mm FOV it creates about a 37mm, (not sure...I gotta do the sensor math) but that's exactly why I like it. It's not 40mm it's not 35mm, it's 37mm lol. Anyway, this thing is sharp, and in the very tip of the corners...I feel like it gets a tiny bit soft, but not in a bad way ! It creates this look that leans towards film for sure, and when you pair it with the X-Pro 1...the combo just truly creates something special. I swear by the X-Pro 1 in color and black and white but, the Meike + XPRO1 in B&W is special. Anyway, just wanted to share a lens that I don't really see or hear people discuss too much, and share some images w/ it. No pressure on clicking the link, but I promise you the proof is in the pudding !

Loving what this little thing is able to do !!! Definitely happy w/ my upgrade.

Random question for you, or for anybody reading this... If you could only buy one, a used X-T1 or a used X-H1, which would it be ?! I need the camera that has some soul in it.. Has something special on the sensor or in the image.. Never had either of those cams, heard good things about both though. Looking to get it for a family member getting into photography..

I'm starting to think the new WR 27mm 2.8 pancake lens is one of Fuji's greatest lenses ever. I don't know how the first version performed but, the second version has been performing amazing. It's so light and compact...I've even been taking it hiking. I never take a camera hiking lol. Just really loving the images I'm getting with it, and the X-T5 being paired has been good.

Feel you !!! Fujis are flying off the shelves right now, atleast in the States. Even on the used market, some bodies that I thought would be available, or at a certain price...are not, available lol. X-T50 looks nice !!! Thinking about it, or the X-T30ii, we'll see.

Whew !!! What a camera ! Never shot one but, the images I've seen look great ! I was thinking about getting the 50Sii, cuz there's a good price on them right now. $2400-$2900 for the body. Looking forward to seeing what you create !

I had the first version w/ the 35F2 and loved that setup...I moved on so I could get an X-T4. But I loved how small it was and how powerful it was. Hard to find the MARK2 version right now, even used...I think I'm going to try and add that.

Wow, just re-read this post...so cool about Ireland and the lockdown being the jolt / spark that pushed you further into photography ! And man, that zoom lens sounds sick !!! I've had a few chances to shoot some concerts, but I didn't have a proper zoom and always wondered what a good one would be.. 16-150 !!! Wow !

Also rocking the 27mm 2.8 lens for the VERY first time. The combo shocked me !

Wow, this is good to know. Thinking about buying an X-T1 for someone in my family but.. Maybe I should just get them an X-T3 or something instead, to avoid all this lol. I just figured, just go with the cheapest body, and a camera that has some soul to it, to let them learn the basics first. Hmmmm.

I am down to one X-Pro1, and an X-T5. That's it !!! I'm just as shocked as you are lol.

The Sony Tough cards are great, I've used those before. I'm currently rocking ProGrade cards V90II, they also work great.

I've heard that noise too before, I wouldn't worry about it. The x-pro 1 is a tank and will keep on ticking. Nice photo by the way !

Nice to meet you man ! X-T4, love it !!! I had it...but on the X-T5 now as well. Also love it lol.

My favorite camera of all-time for Fuji is the X-Pro 1 so... If there is an X-Pro 4 coming, I will wait for it ! I have skipped the 2, and the 3, skipping the X100VI because I have the X-T5.. But this time next year, I'd be into an X-Pro 4 for sure !

I wanna see some XF10 images.. Anybody else using this Fuji point and shoot ?!
