  1. I haven't been following the different flashes available for Fuji lately. I feel like I might need one. I know Metz has one and so does Nissin. Fuji has their own brand too. What's the best one to get? I won't use these off camera. I would use this on camera, on the hot shoe. So something that balances well on the camera would be nice. I would like to have TTL HSS is not important I would like a fast recycle time. I have the Fuji ef-20 and I found it to be a bit weak. What would be the best flash to get for these criteria? Thank you.
  2. I wish I knew a way too. I think Phase One needs to add that functionality into Capture One. So might as well bug them. I use Lightroom for tethering now. Although it shows that Fuji isn't ready for the commercial photography market if it doesn't have tether capability with Capture One.
  3. The 56mm is my most used lens. I like the perspective of the focal length for human subjects (I shoot fashion and portraits). The focus is faster than the 60mm. Although in good light, it doesn't make that much of a difference. The 60mm is a great lens. The slow part of the focus is when the lens decides to go through the entire range to acquire focus. That takes like 1-2 seconds it seems and is unacceptable if I need to capture a moment. But the 60mm has its uses since it has a much closer focusing distance. I take it out if I need to shoot something close and still. So for beauty work and product, it works great. I suggest the 60mm if you're shooting at a slower pace and need to shoot things close up. It's also much cheaper. Because of that, it is a very versatile lens. You can shoot a lot of different things with it from product, landscape, and portraiture. I wouldn't shoot anything that moves with it though.
  4. Honestly, you're right. X-T1 is near perfect for me. I don't need more megapixels. Sure, they could have PDAF on all AF points, but the contrast detect works pretty dang fast enough for me to care. I'm not sure what X-Pro 2 can really offer. Maybe if their high ISO becomes so good that it makes 6400 look like X-T1's 3200 or something. Or if the rumors of multi-aspect sensor is true. But I don't know what else could cause me to want to get an X-Pro 2.
