Hi everybody. I am a long time amateur photographer based in the North of England. My interests are in landscape and portraiture. Most of my photography has been done here and in the west of Ireland. I have the X-Pro2 and a range of fixed and telephoto lenses together with the X-100F and X-100V and love the cameras. Having for many years done film photography using Olympus OM cameras, I feel very much at home with Fujifilm's film simulations - no manufacturer gets near their gorgeous renditions. Now four years in with Fujifilm after using Pentax as my first digital experience.

Thank you for your welcome Olaf. Your diagnosis was right. On checking the behaviour looking through the viewfinder it was just the display. A big relief. What a helpful start to the Forum. I very much look forward to participating. Best wishes

I would be grateful for your help. When my X-Pro2 is switched on and the playback button is pressed the camera switches off. Pressing it again switches the camera back on. The button is acting as an on/off switch and not in its image playback function so I have no playback available.This has just started to happen today and could be related to my having accidentally taken the battery out to replace it forgetting that the camera was still switched on. I have reformatted the memory cards and loaded the latest firmware but still have the issue.I would be very grateful if you could advise me how to resolve this issue.
