    I am trying to update the firmware on my XT-2 camera. I currently have Body Version 4.40 and am trying to update with FWUP0005.DAT file to 5.52. However I am getting the message “FIRMWARE NOT FOUND IN CARD SLOT 1" after following the firmware procedure. Any advice welcome.

    Clearly in my haste to try out my new lens the hood was not fitted correctly - problem solved! Thanks for your input.

    Forgive my ignorance but the first shots taken with my new 16mm f1.4 with the lens hood has produced dark corners. Is that to be expected?
