After a mont or so with the X70 I have little to complain but.. there are a couple of things that fuji could add to it next firmware update to enhance use ability. So here's my wish list and hope to see them next update. *Option to sign "non" function to focus ring. *up/down scrolling with touchscreen in "menu". *Touch select in Q menu. Any ideas to share? Please post!

When I want to take selfie I have to take it off.This thump rest is slightly modified so when flipping the screen out it won't scratch the upper rim of the screen.

Non what so ever as far as I can see.

Went through the menu to find out there isn't a way to deactivate the function of the focus ring. You're right, the "non" is only to disable the "fn-7" button. Looks like we both have to wait for the first FW update. So Fuji PLEASE ADD DISABLE FOCUS RING OPTION!!

That is how you turn of the ring, by selecting "non" in menu. Long press this button Then select "non" Now your focus ring has no function.

Do you mean the "focusing ring" on your lens? When holding your camera,turn it on, look on the left side of the body, there you find a button flush away with the body. Long press will show an option menu, scroll up or down with D-path and select "non".

Yeah, definitely not slim/stretch pants pocketable but with a coat pocket, not a problem.

Hi to all X70 owners. I would like like to start this thread to show my X70 with some accessories to add usage comfort or to protect it lens/touchscreen. Fujifilm have some excellent accessories for the X70 like: Aluminium lens hood, leather strap/halfcase, uv filter, EOV finder, grip belt ect. BUT at a price of course. What I want to show some cheap alternative to pimp your X70 wich works great for me. First, the touchscreen protection film. I use a mate anti glare/fingerprint. This might not work you some but personally I hate fingerprint so with this film I don't have to clean my screen all the time. Touch function still work as it should, although anti glare it's hard to see in direct sunlight. Lens hood. This lens hood from eBay is for the X100 series but the filter thread on the X70 is also 49mm, that means you can screw this on to the X70. This is version 2.0, looks much like the JJC one but has a attractive waffle pattern on the hood. For only $10 it look even beter than the one on the X100 IMO. It extended the lens quite a lot so I only screw this on when it dangling down my neck on a Keychain. For in my coat pocket, it's off and only has a thin lens cap. It comes with an adapter, on to it I screw a Ultra slim Nisi uv filter. Nisi uv filter, adapter, hood. Filter on adapter. Totaal package. With hood. Without hood. Last but no less important, the thumpsup/rest. Now there are no X70 thumpsup yet but here I have a cheap one for the X100, modify a bit by curving it inward, not to much, so it almost touches the exposure dail, filed away underneath so the touchscreen doesn't hit it when fold out. Works perfectly, add extra grip. Wel that's it. Hopes it helps.

Lovely lens isn't it? Really happy with mine too. To bad we have to add a lot of rings and hood on to the lens. Wish it wouldn't extend out that much when close focusing. Nice sample pictures.

Hi to you all, Starting out long time ago with a cool FinePix 6900 (still have it) as a digital entrance, then upgraded to the X100, X100S and back to the Sexy black limited X100. Added the X20 to my collection, it was a fabulous combination. Fuji Love forever since then. So 2016 came, sold both of them and replaced it with a new X70 black and a ridiculously cheap Xpro1 to work with my old MF lenses. As a novice I hope to gain some new things from you all and maybe adding some to this Fuji community myself. Cheers from Holland.
