    earlier versions of this lens have a different optical design which promote the famous swirl, later ones are in fact corrected for the swirl, they are still nice lenses but not as “ sui generis” as the early ones are.
     
    There are ways to modify some of the later versions by means of inverting the front elements of the lens. Several of these modification methods are shown on you tube.

    Thanks.
    So I called around and there is nobody that can repair my fuji in my country or somewhere near so I would have to send it to UK and then who knows how much they will charge it...I'm so freaking mad

    Wow. I'm new to this forum, but I'm on a few other hobby related ones. I'm always amazed by people's negativity. Photography is an art, and the camera is the tool. If someone chooses to personalize their tool and share it, let them. If you don't care for it, then keep your snippy little comments to yourself.
     
    If you don't have anything nice to say, than don't say it all. Something we all should have learned in kindergarten.

    If you're using zooms IBIS is of no use, however if using primes, particularly the 90mm it would (imo) be a Godsend!
