Hi,

I like to hear the sound when pressing the Shutter. “Old Habits Die Hard”

When using the X-H1 there is no sound from the Mechanical Shutter when pressed and everything else works fine.

When using the Electronic Shutter I have sound but it shuts down the Flash System!

So is there any way that I can have Shutter Sound and the flash system working at the same time?

Nope, I have a list of improvements and this is on there. My need for it is doing portraits, some models don't know when to strike a new pose due to not hearing the shutter. However electronic isn't as sharp so I just do a visual count down or signal

      Assuming still photography of a general nature; Aperture priority, set aperture to F8 or F5.6 ISO set to Auto ISO, range base to 6400, mini,u, shutter speed 1/100 sec Viewfinder screen set to show picture effect/exposure, histogram, blinking highlights and exposure information Focus set to AF-S with single point or area with 9 points Go out, make photos, see what's working and what's not, adjust to your own liking and use case.

      Hair in ISO dial

      Somehow there is a hair stuck in the ISO dial of my x100vi. I'm a pretty hairy guy and I do find my hair in some peculiar places but I thought these dials were mostly weather sealed. Any suggestions on how I can get it out from inside the dial? Any advice appreciated.

      Sensor Leaking / Damaged Sensor?

      Hi everyone, recently just got back shooting w/ my x pro 2 and while I was doing pixel mapping with the lens cap on , I tried to see the raw files if the stuck or hot pixels gone, out of curiosity i intentionally bumping the exposure slider on the right and I saw this white light coming from the left is this normal for having a light leaking or does my sensor is damaged?

      Welcome to the forum. For seeing your histogram, you can include it in your displays by going to the setup menu >>> screen setup >>> disp. custom settings >>> (scroll waaaay down to get to) histogram. Check the box and save the settings. This will show the histogram in the evf. To see it on the lcd, you will to push the disp./back button to switch the lcd to the custom view. Your other questions are more tricky to guess/answer. Is the maximum ISO for auto ISO set at a low limit? Beyond that, without being there on the scene and knowing what all the other shooting settings you used, any guess is just, a guess.

      I keep my X-T1 on auto ISO. Yesterday I was trying to capture a heron at the beaver dam in our neighborhood wetlands. I use the viewfinder which doesn't show me the histogram (is there a setting for this that I'm missing?) but the exposure meter showed that it was exposed correctly. The bird flew off and when I checked the display, the photos I took were so dark I couldn't see the scene at all (think shooting with your lens cap on). The photos had been taken at ISO 800. So I have two questions, why did the exposure meter say everything was groovy when it wasn't, and why didn't it go above 800 in order to capture a correct exposure? I shoot in raw and was able to save the photo in Lightroom.
