Hey everyone!

Im a professional working photographer with over 15 years experience (mostly still photography) with pretty limited video experience.  Ive shot a lot of footage with numerous Fuji and Viltrox lenses and get good, expected results.  I’ve got a new SIRUI 24 1.2 fully manual lens. This lens has no contacts to communicate with the camera body.  I’m going to assume this is why there seems to be zero stabilization when I shoot handheld with this lens. IBIS is confirmed to be on, but footage seems quite shaky. I compare this to footage shot with other non Fuji lenses such as a Viltrox 33 1.4, which has no optical stabilization either, but does communicate with the camera since it’s an AF lens- but even in manual focus the Viltrox footage is rock solid hand held.
Am I missing something or is this how the XH2 behaves with a full manual lens in video mode-  to have no IBIS applied ?
thanks in advance
