My XS-10 is just under 5 years old, and I use it extensively as my webcam through an elgato capture card. A few days ago, I started getting some disturbing glitches where the color and focus would degrade, and there was pulsing and flashing on the camera screen, and on my Mac screen. I have tried to identify the problem: plugged in, and unplugged, updated the firmware, changed shooting modes, reset camera settings to factory, etc. Unfortunately, the issue keeps coming back. The only thing I can guess is that prolonged use as a webcam eventually cooked the board. Any ideas on the problem or the fix are most welcome! xs10 glitch.mov -

Have you checked the settings for jpeg? I found the camera was slow between shots. On the advice of others in this forum I turned 'clarity' tp zero and that makes it much faster. Other jpeg settings on that menu might also make it slow. Lens corrections for instance. I have them at zero because I shoot RAW. Paul
