Hi

Just got the Godox V1F for the fujifilm system. Connecting it to the hot shoe only gives me "sync terminal" and manual mode. It does fire the flash when I take photos but no TTL. I just removed the hot shoe cover before putting it on, so there is no grime on the hot shoe itself. The shutter is set to mechanical only and I am in Aperture priority. The firmware on the flash itself is the newest one, 1.3

I also have a Fuji X100V which I tried it on. Where the flash settings automatically go to TTL immediately, and it works the way most youtube tutorials explain. The H2S claims to be TTL-compatible and the Godox V1F says it is compatible with Fujifilm TTL-systems, which to my mind sounds like it should just work, and I it is quite frustrating that it doesn`t.

The flash obviously works and is set correctly since it works fine with the x100v, and the flash fires when I connect it to the H2S, only no TTL. So what am I missing. Please help.

Best regards

Johann

Resolved the issue. If someone has the same issue. It seems that the hot-shoe and flash are a really tight fit, and I had to wriggle it the last bit. It stops right before it is supposed to with a click, which made me think it had reached the slot it was supposed to. Pushing with force was less effective than wriggling. So. User error.
