On vacation last week I dropped my Fuji 27mm/f2.8 pancake lens on to a hard floor. Now, when I turn on the camera, the lens fully retracts and then fully extends about every 6 seconds. I realize with that lens, fully retracts and extends is only about 1/2 inch, but it just keep cycling. No light is visible through the viewfinder or screen of my X-T30. This happens whether the camera is in S, C, or M focus mode. Is this lens a lost cause? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I suspect it would not be worth it repairing when compared to the price of a new one, but that would be a guess.   If it’s a mkI vs a mkII, then it might definitely be worth getting a new one, in context.
