well, of course you have the LCD to help you with that.

I am not sure whether that is accurate but some products claim they have adapter plates for Fuji although they mean the older S series.

It might be possible to buy use the original eyecup of the camera as an “ adapter” to use one of those 90 degrees viewfinder ( and buy yourself an extended one) or to have the adapter bit 3D printed for you.

From what I am finding so far, you are correct in that the adapter only fits the S series.

LCD is not the best to use outdoors in clumsy low positions,  Old body you know!!  Even with the Hoodman Loupe it is not as easy to critical focus with the LCD.  The other problem is that it does not swing in a direction to be useful when the camera is in a vertical (portrait) orientation

Cheers, I feel your pain... unfortunately I too understand that shooting in certain positions is painful.

Maybe some third party maker could have made it but if they thought there was any money to be made with this they would have done so already.

I also think that it is unlikely that Fuji will ever come up with a right angle viewfinder attachment themselves for the same reason so, unless you are going to do some DIY, I don’t see predicament having any solution.

In a way I see the X-T1 as a camera somehow inspired to the Pentax LX, that camera had many a beautiful solutions for this problem.
