I've been playing with the X-Pro2 for about an hour or so and I can't figure this one out. When using the EVF, all of the frame lines, shutter speed, aperture, and etc. display info disappears if I'm not adjusting a setting or taking a picture. That's fine for battery saving, but if I want to point the camera generally around a scene and meter continuously, i have to constantly press (but not hold) the shutter to meter at different parts of the scene. Is there a setting that keeps the screen details active for a certain amount of time before turning off? It's very annoying. When in the LCD mode, the meter and other settings are visible continuously so I know it's not a wild notion. I appreciate any help you can provide.

Press the DISPLAY/BACK button to toggle the amount of information displayed. For "standard" (i.e. the one with more info) you can set in the menu which information you want displayed. Same for OVC and the LCD, by the way. See p. 32–34 of the manual.
