xt200 Video color settings (help)

Hi, 

So I have an XT200 and I've been trying to dabble around with video only to now realize that the color control settings (highlights, shadow, color, sharpness) don't seem to apply when recording video.  Is this some sort of bug, or did I mess up some settings or is this just a purposed crippling for the sake of segmentation?  

If it can't be helped, is there anything I can do to get a more flat profile I can work with for color grading?  I'm already on Pro neg std T_T

P.S. I've factory reset and everything
