Buying an X-H1 from Japan

I've decided to buy an X-H1 and would like to buy new. At present, there are many of these cameras being sold on ebay by Japanese sellers at more realistic prices than those offered here in the US. Has anyone on this forum bought Fuji direct from Japan and was it a positive experience?

Hello, I am Yoshi, a Japanese.

I was Nikon Z7 user, but had been interested in the color of Fuji, for portrait photos.

I just got used X-H1 last month. I was a bit surprised because it is "under-evaluated" here in Japan.

The price was approx. 80k JPN, 693USD at today's exchange rate.

Used camera quality is generally good in Japan, because many of us like to swap for the latest one,

even when still the current has no problem. Trustable camera shop, like "map camera", "Fujiya camera", or "Kitamura"

checks and shows the status of damage.
