  1. Today I used Tamron 24-70mm F2.8(A007), and SIGMA Art 70mm macro, through Fringer FR-FX2 (Portrait). Both lenses are on the list, but I can't say they work perfectly. Sometimes face/eye detection was lost, let's say, 2-3 shots out of 10, and I needed to wait face detection recovered.
  2. Hello Herco, My problem (1) seems to be caused by the combination of wireless flash trigger, GODOX X2T-F. Today also I experienced "usual" busy status with orange signal, and it immediately turned green when I switch off the commander. I am processing RAW file with Lightroom classic and Photoshop, and have CaptureOne, which I am not used to. I am saving new investment on Fuji system now... and using EF lenses with Fringer mount adapter.
  3. Hello, yousif023, I suffered "frequently busy status" of my X-H1. I saw your post, and today I tried to switch off X2T-F during orange LED, and it turns green immediately, every time. I bought ultra fast UHS-II, but there must be some bugs for this combination. Yes I have a same problem, I need to switch off and on of the X2T to escape from the long wait...
  4. Hello, everyone, I just started to use X-H1 mainly for portrait. I am quite new for Fuji, I used EOS 5D MarkII, Nikon D800E, Sony alpha7RII, and Nikon Z7. The reason to switch to Fuji was the usual one, excellent skin tone & color. Recent mirrorless camera cannot be evaluated just at its launch, because lots of updates would be done afterwards. The reason I choose X-H1 rather than T4, T30II, S10 etc. was the structure as the flagship. Actually, I am quite interested in it, compared with other suppliers' high-res full-frame ones. What I just requested to Fuji was the following; (again, I am interested and love X-H1.) 1) Poor buffer memory; I don't shoot C-H or C-L, but frequently I need to wait for X-H1 to complete writing. I requested Fuji to offer additional buffer memory service, so at the moment I bought 290MB/sec write SDXC. 2) Eye detection switch; During eye detection focus is activated, Nikon Z7 etc. allocates cross button to switch the eyes, like L to R, R to L. But when I touch it on X-H1, eye detection was cancelled and moved single AF point, which is not being used and far away. I need to operate two or three steps when the portrait model turns, which I can't catch up her/his motion. I requested to change the definition, from "L or R", to "the eye closer, or the eye further", or to change the cross-button function to move the target eye, keeping on the eye detection. 3) Image quality improvement; I don't care about the disadvantages caused by image sensor size, processor generation, etc. The following is not special for X-H1, common with X-T4 and the others. I have problem with the resolution on darker portion, while it is excellent in bright area. I am especially talking about "the quality on the neck", which is normally darker than on the face, even under the careful lighting. Actual skin of the portrait model is beautiful, but it is often recorded like she has skin allergy, because the quality degradation is not even, sometimes like zebra pattern. I strongly requested to improve this, as the firmware updates at Fuji Imaging Plaza Osaka, by showing the phenomena on their ongoing exhibition by Fuji Professionals. I strongly believe X-H2 will solve (1), and hope X-H1 firmware to solve (2) and (3)...
  5. Hello, I have just ordered a mount converter from EF to FX, Fringer FR-FX2. (I have X-H1) I had Canon or Nikon Cameras, and preferred SIGMA lenses. ( This limits AF to work on phase detection focus points, so coverage is almost half for X-H1. ) Already I confirmed my favorite SIGMA 70mm Art macro works with previous model FR-FX1, and expect old 24mm F1.8 EX DG ASPHERICAL MACRO to work (AF, face/eye detection) with it. Here you can find the confirmed lens list; Canon EF to Fujifilm X - Fringer smart adapters (fringeradapter.com)
  6. Hello, I am Yoshi, a Japanese. I was Nikon Z7 user, but had been interested in the color of Fuji, for portrait photos. I just got used X-H1 last month. I was a bit surprised because it is "under-evaluated" here in Japan. The price was approx. 80k JPN, 693USD at today's exchange rate. Used camera quality is generally good in Japan, because many of us like to swap for the latest one, even when still the current has no problem. Trustable camera shop, like "map camera", "Fujiya camera", or "Kitamura" checks and shows the status of damage. I hope you have a nice partner trader.
