ut3packard reacted to Roberto Leyva in Lexar Memory Card Jamming my XT-1
Hi.
Something similar happened to me last Christmas with a Lexar Pro too. I usually don't record videos but that occasion was worth it... I now clearly recall the camera showed the same message you mentioned in the middle of the recording and of course I missed the moment and the video...
I am trying to remember if that happened also when I took some photos but can't remember.
What did I do? In that moment I took my xpro1 so I forgot the problem... then I formatted the card in the camera (xt1) and I didn't get that message again. Weird thing. I hope it never happens again.

Hi Andy, and welcome! Like you, I retired many of my Nikons when I discovered Fuji X cameras. I think you will enjoy this supportive forum. Many helpful folks out there if you get stuck, or if you just want to share. Cheers!

I'm sure Fuji performed excellent testing level on the fw4.20 . Just take into account that every fw file grows in size, and amount of features and possible combinations as well.
So each release it requires more and more testing.
I'm also proud of Fuji doing that for free, investing a lot of time and effort.
Only such a minor bug discovered in 5 days by thousands of people. Fantastic! : )
I don't know how many people test Fuji fw, but they did really great job, and I feel very confident about fw4.20 .

I don't do studio shoots, but I do the occasional shot in difficult light. Easiest solution is a white card.

Oh, did not see that. When shooting RAW, the in-camera white balance setting is almost irrelevant. It's just a value written to the EXIF data.
There is, however, a reason why there is no "flash" white balance. While cameras with built in flash can be calibrated to the color temperature of the built in flash, the camera manufacturer does not know what color temperature your external flash has.
So, if you want to do the WB in camera for your RAW file (your RAW converter will use this value as preset), look what color temperature your flash has (data sheet), and just dial it in with the "K" setting.

Burst mode with flash is a breath of fresh air. Sincerely hoping it comes to X100T soon.
One bit of weirdness: when firing a continuous burst with flash, my viewfinder goes black after each shot except the last — the last one shows the image review as expected.
Weirdly, that behavior occurs even if I turn image review off. Has anyone else noticed that?
