  1. I did not watch Ken's review. I read the specs, and I liked it. Sure, some things will not work, but may be improved in future FW updates. The thing is H2s can do things X-T4 cannot, and those things I want, ProRes, 4k60, 4k120 no crop, large buffer for bursts, fast sensor readout, larger EVF). I do not care about AF, eye or subject detection, or IS.
  2. @brianco, Thank you for the advice. That's what I ended up doing, assigned it to the Fn1 button. The issue is still present in FW ver 4.0. What couldn't they just save all settings currently in effect to C1, C2, ... and then recall them when the wheel is turned into one of the custom modes position. That's all, just a single menu item "Save current settings", and select C number. Instead they have a whole lot of menus and sub-menus. It looks to me it is overly engineered to the point of being unusable. I bet some junior programmer was working on this part, and the supervisor had no time to check on him/her periodically...
  3. Is there a way to save "Exposure/white balance simulation" switch to custom settings? When setting up custom settings bank the parent folder "Screen Setup" is always greyed out... Funny, just read in the other post " Fuji cameras are known for their custom settings capabilities", or something like that I'd add "...screw ups" to that phrase It would be more accurate.
  4. I mounted 600EX-rt on Fujifilm xt-1 with 35mm lens, and put the sppedlite in EXT-M mode, just to see what would happen. It works almost like ETTL with some restrictions, exposure compensation is also possible (by setting the camera and the speedlite to different ISO speed and/or apeture combinations). Bounsing off the wall also seem to work fine. I was shooting subjects at different distances to make sure that the exposure is more or less correct. I suspect that EXT-A will also work. I must revisit xt1, it has been laying around for too long, after first testing it a year ago, and opting for 6D instead (because of the image quality).
