When shooting in manual, the front dial overrides the top dial by nearly a stop. This is frustrating in the studio where I want to nail down the exposure and keep it there. It seems I'd inadvertantly touch the dial and under or over expose an image. My favorite is when it ends up over the sync speed and I get the stripe at the bottom. Is there a way to over ride this function other than gaffers tape?

I think I have the opposite problem with Fuji - too sharp for portraits. Especially close ups. I find that I have to reduce clarity and contrast in Lightroom.
