I think that the battery-chamber latch hits the sealing, if battery is accidentally inserted upside down or backwards and trying to close the cover. Possible cause / explanation?

Just contacted Fuji North America. In an email they offered to send me the piece free of charge with the serial number of the camera or the purchase receipt. Awesome.
