  1. Answering my own question: 1. PC SHOOT AUTO When a camera is not connected to a PC, images are recorded in an SD card. When the camera is connected to a PC via a USB cable, images are recorded to the PC by using the optional accessary "Tethered Shooting Software HS-V5". However, if the USB cable comes off during the transfer of the images, the images which have not been transferred will be lost. 2. PC SHOOT FIXED When the camera is connected to a PC via a USB cable, images are recorded to the PC by using the optional accessary "Tethered Shooting Software HS-V5". Once the camera is connected to a PC, images are recorded in the buffer memory (not in a SD card) in the camera. So, in the case the USB cable comes off during the transfer of the images, you can transfer them to the PC later unless you turn off the camera. 3. MTP(PTP) : default setting The setting is for normal shooting. You need to select this mode when you transfer recorded images to a PC via a USB cable and print them with PictBridge.
  2. Can someone explain the difference between MTP(PTP), PC SHOOT AUTO and PC SHOOT FIXED? Thanks.
  3. I agree. There's no good reason for not updating the x100s with basic features like a customizable Q menu and classic chrome. It's the little things that keep us happy and brand loyal. I love Fuji, really I do but this is a major fail in my opinion. And I don't buy into the whole "they want to sell more x100T" argument - because I'm not buying one. My x100s is still a great camera. If I really want wifi and the new viewfinder which cannot be added to the x100s - I will have to upgrade to the x100T at that point.
