  1. got both, whichever you pick, you will be happy, but here is my advice: pick 10-24 if: - you take a lot of shots as a tourist - you travel with friends, and are active - you take some videos (VR) - you want to shoot ultrawide (tight indoors, funky perspective) pick 16 if: - this lens has great rendering and bokeh for a 24 equiv, so taking portraits is an option, especially if you got kids - you often take pics at low light, or indoors - you want to experiment with astro (not perfect lens for that, but it does the job) - you travel with a tripod, alone or with someone that will let you take your time to compose frames with your feet I've had 10-24 first, picked up 16 later on. I never take them both when I'm out shooting, rather pick the one that will suit conditions better. Not planning on selling either. If I had to choose between the two.. hmm.. maybe the 16, but I just got my xt2 and plan to shoot more video with it, so things may change. IMO just get the one that you can get cheaper and used in good condition. some shots with 10-24: https://evgreen.exposure.co/maras-kaleidoscope
  2. got the XC, it's incredible value, probably best value for money lens in Fuji camp. It's sharp enough from wide open, plenty sharp at f/8. Bokeh ain't bad either. I'd say - if you want to shoot a lot of pictures in that focal length, maybe go for 55-200 instead, for aperture, even better sharpness and bokeh. But if you shoot at tele focals just from time to time, like me - you can't go wrong with XC50-230, it's so tiny and lightweight. I find the XC to be much better than my Tamron 70-300VC that I got on Nikon mount, and it's less than half the weight, size and price! I got mine for 140EU brand new, watch ebay and such for people selling brand new ones that came with body or they got it on sale with other lenses.
  3. a lot of good ideas here! Got my X-T1 for just couple weeks, and here is what I'd add (correct me if those are already adjustable and I missed something): 1) Improve Auto ISO - add an option to set minimum shutter speed based on focal length (like Nikon does it), but also allow "static" minimum at the same time like it is now. Example - put a 230mm lens and minimum shutter speed based on focal length would be 1/230s, but also allow for setting it so that minimum shutter speed doesn't go below, let's say, 1/125s when you put a wide angle on. (10mm would make it 1/10s which is way too long for capturing people) 2) "RAW" button to toggle image quality permanently (or until camera is switched off) and not just for one shot like it is now. 3) more exposure bracketing options as others were saying 4) % battery indicator 5) live exposure in bulb mode (like oly does it) 6) longer exposure modes - up to at least 120sec, or proper bulb mode via camera remote app 7) copyrights embedding in pics 8) ability to move the zoomed-in area in "focus assist" mode, and also ability to cancel the zoom-in with half button press of shutter and for X-T2: 1) HSS flash, remote flash trigger built in body (that works like phottix odin and similar), could be a killer feature for fuji branded flashes to have all this built in, without pesky addons 2) timed release on one of the dials 3) better video, without moire and aliasing, s-log, doesn't have to be 4K I think Fuji has the capacity to do all of these, years before any other camera manufacturer does. This would make already great Fuji cameras godlike!
