pictoseb got a reaction from Curiojo in Ken Rockwell is unimpressed
Sorry for those who like him but I read his articles like I would read a tabloid magazine; The point of view from a fanboy who does snapshots and care more about the hits on his website than gear.

pictoseb reacted to oscillik in X-pro 2 unimpressive AF
sounds like you simply had your hand too close to the lens.
Exactly what distance did you have your hand from the lenses?

pictoseb reacted to neon in Ken Rockwell is unimpressed
Ken is the absolute embodiment of selfdeclared expertism. Like a lot of so called "expert users and reviewers" on the web, it seems that making a distinction between facts and personal opinions/taste is rather difficult.
Especially the overdone statements and grandiloquence really make his reviews distrustworthy. It is such a shame, since his experience with a wide range of equipment could make him a great benchmarker. Now, people get mislead and his reviews are full off disputable statements.

pictoseb reacted to Paul Crespel in CONTROVERSIAL STREET PHOTOGRAPHY
I've started this thread to try and encourage people to come out of their comfort zone, and to think more when they photograph street scenes. Some of these images may be viewed as controversial or provocative. None are criticisms of the subjects, but rather they are criticisms of the society and mentality in which the subjects live, and perhaps a criticism our our own judgement of others.
Some of the images here appear also in other threads; be patient with me, each is a useful illustration for more than one subject.
