Yes LCD is never OFF.

I have noticed that the camera makes some internal sounds while on. Is this normal? Just checking because I am new to Fuji.

I would think that Fuji would make that known to users. I find it odd also that none of the many Fuji YT videos mention this. Thanks for the info. I will ignore the "On". I am new to Fuji so that is a problem also.

I cannon figure out how to turn the top LCD screen off when camera is OFF. I would like it to turn on when camera is on but not when OFF. Also camera makes a small sound when on..this is probably normal but would like affirmation. Thanks! Dan

My name is Dan. I am 77 yrs old. Have done photography all my life from film to digital. I am a Canon person but moved to Fuji GFX100sII to modernize and go MF. I am a Vietnam combat veteran of 2 years, worked in the govt law enforcement protection services for 40 years and am retired. I shoot mainly still images of any kind. Yes I do shoot some moving subjects. Not a BIF type of person now but I was. I am active as a volunteer with the Dept of the Army at Arlington Natl Cemetery and have been for 20 years. I am an active volunteer for the VVMF, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and was a participant for finding a photo for every KIA-MIA veteran in Vietnam. I was a major contributor to the Pentagon 9-11 Committee and designed their now, Commorative lapel pin. The FUJI FGX is a MAJOR learning curve for me so please be patient with this old man. Thanks!
