  1. What differences have you noticed with the latest Fujifilm X Series Firmware Updates. I'm yet to see what differences it makes to my X-T4.

  3. Thanks, I've got it up and running now, through blutooth.
  4. Phone is telling me to update to latest firmware on my TX4, which already has 2.01
  5. Bit pointless having a custom setting if you can't set it to your specific needs. Really dissapointed, especially having just bought the camera. Petrhaps, hopefully a firmware update will sort it.
  6. Thanks I think it only aplies to JPEG's
  7. Whatever image quality I save on any custom setting and then save it , all custom settings show the same image quality. I can't seem to have one set to Raw and others saved to Fine.
  8. I now have the Sigma 18-50, nice lens.
  9. Please Help I'm having trouble setting up the Q settings. pictures show what I've got C settings set to. Problem is when I activate either setting, the image setting changes. Please bear with me. Base C1/C1 set to default Raw/F. Don't understand the two settings. C2 set to Fine Jpeg. Sometimes shows as Base C2 C3 set to Fine Monochrome When I acces the Q button to choose C2 or C3 it becomes Raw/F, and C1 becomes Fine. The same if I set C1 to just Raw Or all will show Raw/F or Fine Or if I set C2/C3 to Fine, C1 Becomes Fine. I make sure that I save each setting under edit/save custom setting, but it doesn't make any difference. I still have to change the setting, It's driving me nuts. Hope all this makes sence to someone.
  10. I don't understand why it does it just in monochrome mode. I can take the same picture in colour with no problem.
  11. HEEEELPP On my TX4 I have monochrome setup in one of the custom settings (C3). For some reason whenever in jpeg I take a photo I get a slow shutter speed (40th sec). Whatever I change my Aperature, iso, exposure to, it's still a slow shutter speed. Is there a setting in the main menu that is preventing my mono setup. I set up with aperature priority mode.
  12. I have the Arthur Cam book, and I agree It's not woth bothering about. It didn't cost me anything so I should'nt complain. The Tony Phillips book sound interesting, if I can get the papaerback version at a reasonable price. Not sure about the E-Book version.
  13. I've been thinking of getting the 18-55 just for street, the only problem is it's not WR. There's also the Sigma 18-50, which I beleive is shower proof.
  14. My focal lengths are mainly between 20-40.
  15. I have at the moment the XF16-80mmF4 R OIS WR lens. I’m looking to add another one or two, for street photography and possibly landscape. I’ve been using the 16-80 for street, but I’m finding it a bit intrusive and heavy. Not yet sure what it’s like for landscapes, I think it will be ok. With my previous lens setup with Pentax I had five zoom lenses ranging from 10mm to 300mm plus a 90mm macro lens. I don’t want as a wide range again as I found half of them were never used. I know that primes are the go to lenses for street, but which one, 23,35,50 or something in between. I have tried just setting my 16-80 to just 23 or 35, but I find myself zooming in and out all the time. I don’t really want to be carrying too many around with me. Preferably WR Your thoughts will be most helpful.
  16. Hi All I’m interested to know what Operators Manual/Reference Book you use. I have the supplied manual that came with the XT-4. I’m looking for something that’s more informative and easier to follow. I’ve seen this Fujifilm X-T4 Companion: A Guide to Mastering Your Camera by Arthur Cam. Wandered what your thoughts are.
  17. Hi All I had been with Pentax for a number of years, but I've recently moved from to Fujifilm. My kit comprises of a TX-4 plus 16-80 lens, which I've only had for couple of weeks. I really like the the way it feels and the ease of using it, still trying to set it up. I will eventially expand my lens setup, I've only ever used zooms not had any primes, but I am thinking getting a 23m or 35mm, especially for street photography. I'm from Cambridgeshire in the U.K. My photographic interests are mainly lanscapes, anything querky, urban and derelict scenes. At The moment I'm having a go at street photography, which I'm finding very interesting and challanging. I hope to gain more experience with my camera, and hopefully pick up plenty of tips from you all. While with Pentax I was very fortunate to have had my photo Garden Bistro used by Pentax U.K. to advertise it's DSLR range which I am very proud of.
