Skells reacted to Greybeard in X-T5 - Lossless Compressed RAWs in Capture One
I'm not really a Capture One user but have tried Capture One Express for Fujifilm - compressed raws work OK - as far as performance goes its swings and roundabouts - files are smaller but need more CPU for decompression - I doubt there is much difference in performance.
You could always try downloading a few raw files from the review sites and give it a try.

I initially use uncompressed then switched to Lossless when I heard there was no degradation in quality. I never noticed a difference in processing speed. There might be one but not enough for me to notice.

Skells got a reaction from man-overboard in Hi all
Ha! Yes I feel the same in that way. I bought way too much Canon kit, not using 80-90% of it!
This time I will be getting the X-T5 and an XF23 f1.4 to start with! I'll likely 'need' at least a couple more primes over time, but I'll start with just the one!

I too am back to Fuji X-H2S and GFX100S. Left for Hassie but many months after ordering the 3 new lenses I only had the 38V, so I gave up on them. The thinking behind it was if they are so like this with new orders what the heck will they be like for service or repair. Fuji I could walk in the shop and buy everything with 1 or 2 days notice. What's more I am very happy with both cameras and the lenses I chose. I hope I have killed GAS stone-dead.

Thanks, Olaf!
I've made the decision, got all my Canon boxes down from the loft, to get my gear ready to sell!
V excited to rejoin the Fuji family 😊

Skells reacted to batian in Fujinon XF23mm F1.4 R LM WR Review
Hello everybody,
Again, I did not find a dedicated topic to just this lens in the forum. So, as the last (blog) act of the year, here's my opinion on this lens.

Happy New Year 2023!
Cheers,
Peter
P.S. In January I'll be reviewing the XF33 and the XF30 Macro...
