The Germanasca Valley (Piedmont) was a mining valley for many years. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, talc and copper were extracted until the veins ran out, making extraction unprofitable. In the palace of Venaria Reale, the most spectacular room is certainly the Galleria Grande, a 73 meter long corridor illuminated by enormous windows. -
