nodslr got a reaction from frankinfuji in Do we tolerate the bodies because of the lens qualities?
I can't say that I have any issues with my Fujifilm camera bodies, but my primary reason for my switch to Fuji where the lenses. Continuous autofocus was actually so bad that I bought a Nikon D7200 just for the sake of shooting actions. With the X-T2 things have improved, but not to the extent that it can replace my Nikon with the long telephoto lenses. Except for autofocus I love the gears and I don't think I will change it in the nearest future. However there are a few things I would love to see in a coming camera like built in image stabilisation and a real implementation of back focus (AF-ON). Improved battery life is also on my wish list.

So yes, I can live with the camera bodies, because no one else have a lens collection that can beat Fuji.

Can't understand why you did this to a new camera. If you want a used camera, make it because you're traveling and shooting a lot, not because you think it is stylish. For me it is stupid to have a fake used camera.

nodslr got a reaction from Ektachrome in Convince me not to dump my X stuff
For me it's simple. I switch to mirrorless to save weight and space. For me cameras are part of a system with lenses. To save a few gram on the camera body doesn't help. Even the lenses must be smaller and lighter. That's why initially all mirrorless cameras was introduced with MFT sensors or APS-C sensors. I don't understand mirrorless with full frame sensors. With these cameras we are back to what initially mirrorless solved in the first place. To save weight and space. A full frame lens by nature must be larger than one for a smaller sensor.

Since Fuji's X-lens lineup is pretty well rounded out now for most needs, I'd like to see -

    1. A revision of existing primes to WR.
    2. Introduction of Tilt/Shift lenses.

Yes yes yes...buy the lens that fit your work/photographic needs. We all know this, but it doesn't stop us photographers from salivating over other lenses that we might not actually 'need' but rather 'want' for some reason or another. I have this problem and I will eventually find the means/reason to buy them lol. In the meanwhile, here's my wishlist...

    1. XF16-55 F2.8 R LM WR (want to sell of the XF 18-55 for this)

    2. XF50-140 F2.8 R LM OIS WR

    3. XF56 F1.2R APD

    4. XF10-24 F4 R OIS (pls Fuji...make a WR version for this lens....pls)
