  1. It has taken me some time but I think I now have my ideal trio of primes which are the 14 / 23 /56 with my 18-135mm as back up. I did have a 16 /35 / 60 set up as I predominantly shoot landscape but on the odd occasion I have wanted to do portrait work I wasn't happy with the 60mm OOF area and the autofocus speed. The 16mm although very fast and WR, loses out to the 14 for angle of few and size and I rarely used the f1.4 for my landscape images. As we all know, there is in fact no ideal set up as our user needs are different but I think the 14/23/56 is a pretty versatile range and certainly suits me. :-)
  2. Hi Everyone, Just purchased a X-T1, XF 18-55mm, XF 55-200, XF 60mm, XF 14mm and Nissan I40 and looking forward to taking some (hopefully) great images with my new kit. I have been into photography as an amateur for a good few years and latterly have been in the Pentax fold with a K3 and had some really good limited lenses but add some zooms and the weight and bulk starts to go up. Although I did try an OMD EM5 for a few months and liked compact size of the system I wasn't convinced about the IQ especially on larger print sizes. I am hopeful, given the quality of the first few images taken with my X-T1 so far that I will have no such issues going forward. Really like the camera, the lenses are superbly built and boy do I like the reduction in bulk / weight for when I am out and about in the hills. Don https://www.flickr.com/photos/108420945@N06/
  3. Beautiful shots of Verona and Castlevechia, I am tempted to buy this lens but would I be better served with the XF 10-24mm?
