Viewfinder magnification change maybe? There are 2 magnification settings (one wide, one narrow), they normally change automatically depending on the focal length of the mounted lens... but you can also change them manually.
For manual changing the magnification on the X-Pro1 flip and hold the viewfinder-level for around 2-3 seconds, I don't know about the X-Pro2
The 35mm framelines in the normal magnification setting are filling most of the viewfinder window and would be quite small in the wide setting (which is fitted to be filled by the 18mm lens).
