  1. Fuji rumors has indicated that there is a soon to be released XH-1, and the projected release is allegedly February. But there has also been mention of it being presented at Photokina, which is in September 2018. Does anyone know if the rumored February release is for 2018—next month—or February of 2019? Thank you in advance.
  2. Still no support for the GFX 50s with the latest Capture One Pro 11. Hopefully, the work-around still works, otherwise, I will not upgrade.
  3. Two Fuji chargers would appear to suffice, however, they are agonizingly slow, and require two outlets that are not always available simultaneously in travel locations. As for the Xt2, I have been using Sony's A7r, series cameras but have never been happy with the menu based settings requirement. Fuji, on the other hand, offers the functional dials (body and lens) that I find more satisfying and useful. And while I primarily perform landscape photography, the 24 MP sensor is more than adequate for same, particularly since I've acquired the GFX 50s. That said, I am waiting for the XT2s release before dumping the Sony.
  4. I have searched the Net, but have yet to find a dual charger. There is a definite need for same.
  5. My understanding is that the LCD on the top plate is E-Ink and uses very little energy.
  6. Hello, Has anyone come across a dual battery, or rapid charger for the NP-T125 batteries? Thank you in advance.
  7. Unfortunately, Picktorial does not offer the same functionality as Capture One. As illustrated by the absence of layers.
  8. I've just received the preorder pricing for the Novoflex Nikon to GF adapter: $328.35! From where I sit, that's an overboard price and for the time being I think that I will pass. Given the vast difference in the performance ratio of Nikon/Fuji glass, I think the money is better spent on Fuji lenses, despite the fact that I have a bag full of Nikon lenses.
  9. This is a reply to my own post: Fujifilm was kind enough to reply to my email, and apparently the noise is normal. The linear focus motors remain active in all states, and that includes when the camera is set to manual focus. I might add that the 120mm OIS is incredibly sharp. The OIS is the best that I have encountered, and I have been able to capture handheld images at a 30th of second that remain sharp. Totally amazing.
  10. Hello, I've just received a brand new GF 120mm F4 OIS and wonder if any owners of same have encountered the following" Set the GFX 50s to manual focus, turn off OIS on the lens and you can still hear the lens motor chirping or singing intermittently, as if it is hunting for something. Is this normal? The OIS switch appears to work in terms of activating and defeating actual image stabilization, but turning it off seems to have no effect on the sound? Clearly, some motorized aspect of the lens remains active at all times, but for what purpose?
  11. Hi, The Kipon sounds like a better choice than the Fotodiox. Apparently, Novoflex does make a Nikon to GFX adapter. However, no one appears to have one in stock and the stores that I've queried do not seem too anxious to order one. I called the distributor but they will not sell to an end user. Interesting business plan: create a product and then make it unavailable. But thanks for the followup.
  12. Hi Christopher, I would be interested in your opinion of the Kipon. The Novoflex is apparently available—somewhere—but none of the dealers that I have spoken to have one, and the distributor will not sell to an end user. Great marketing plan!
  13. Hello, I've recently obtained and returned a Fotodiox Nikon to Fuji G adapter for the following reason: While it mounts to the lens and camera adequately, once the a lens is attached to the adapter, the aperture ring is extremely difficult to turn. I have tried various Nikon and Zeiss lenses, all with the same result. I happen to have other Fotodiox adapters for a Sony 7 series camera that do not appear to exhibit the same issue, or at least to the same extent. While this may have been a defective $150.00 adapter, I suspect that the manufacturing tolerance is off at the lens mount. I am waiting for Novoflex to offer an alternative.
  14. The approach is as follows: Swipe down twice on the LCD and it brings up the RGB histogram.
  15. Hello, I am a new GFX 50s owner/user, and I have noted that, while the manual tells one how to initiate the histogram, it makes no mention of the RGB type that is alluded to be available. Therefore, how does one go about turning this feature on? Thank you in advance.
  16. Hi I am am a new GFX user/owner and would certainly appreciate a C1 profile for the GFX 50s, as I assume would others.
