Make doubly sure you purchased the Mac version. I spent hours wrestling with this installing, uninstalling reinstalling - all the way down to PS itself. I finally discovered that somehow I managed to purchase the Win version! I was noy happy that it even let me do that and show it as installed in Creative Cloud.
