I photograph mostly flowers and plants. I wonder if the Velvet 56 is worth it or just gimmicky?

Vertical or portrait mode. There is a release on the side of the screen that allows the screen to come out at an angle.

Thanks. That is what I thought about after posting this question. I will pay more attention to that when I shoot in portrait mode.

Every once in a while, I lose the image in my lcd screen. The screen goes black. It happens mostly when the vertical mode is pulled out. Has anyone else had this issue?

After looking at the images, the 56mm is a must have! I hope that Fujifilm runs a big sale soon.

When I start the download, I have 2 options...Open with (choose) or Save File. I can't download directly to the sd card.

What am I doing wrong? I download the firmware on my mac. I click on SAVE FILE. It downloads. I then click on "Search" to the right of DAT download. It is in DOWNLOADS. I move it to the sd card. I insert it in the X-T2 and it doesn't see any firmware. Do I need to download to a specific app, instead of SAVE FILE?

Instead of waiting for the 80mm macro lens or the current 60mm macro (which I have), has anyone tried a Fuji 90mm f2 with extension tube(s)? I would like to get the 90mm lens for portraits, as well as macro, since I have Fuji's 2 extension tubes (11 and 16mm).

Beautiful portrait. You make a great case for getting the 56mm 1.2 over the 50mm 2.0 or 60mm 2.4. I have the 60mm macro lens and was wondering if I should get the 56mm lens for portraits???

I love my Induro CT213 tripod, except for the cracked foam padding on the legs. Has anyone replaced or covered the padding? How/what did you do (that)? Thanks!
