  1. I had the same problem like you last week... I sent mine and wait their diagnostic. Did you receive any updates from them? Pricing about the repair ? etc ?
  2. No particular conditions, it just happens when you want to take a picture, with any lens. It's just the shutter that is defective. If you don't encounter this issue by now and If you shoot a lot, yours may be safe.
  3. If you don't experienced this anymore it could be a good thing, well you'll see later if it comes back. What was the frequency you got this issue before? It starts to be annoying when every 6 or 10 shots you got it. I also had this issue when I was in MF
  4. Too bad what country are you from? I just receive a call from Fuji repair service, they confirm me that they'll replace my xpro 2 with a brand new since the delay for the detached pieces will take much longer. Judging by that, Fuji France are now totally and officially aware of this issue. I hope for other Fuji countries to do and act as well.
  5. The point is I guess is to not sending back your bodies to your retailer but directly contact Fuji. The more bodies they got in their repair services will move them! I got the same answers as you from Fuji France, they never heard of this issue before, my X-PRO 2 is the only one camera sent back to their repair services, lucky me they succeed to replicate the issue, even with the latest firmware, and finally see that's an hardware issue. I totally understand you since we are a lot out there around the world with this issue, but not enough to be heard nor considered. That being said, I try to be in their shoes, I'm talking for the France department. Being the only one case in France I find that they doing well even if it could take time. My Fuji Rep does a very good job for an only one case they heard of by first considering this issue as one then proposing me a loan camera during the whole process of my repair or replacement. Mine will be certainly replaced as he said. As a new launch camera, it's obvious that's for Fuji Japan the detached pieces, at this time, are dedicated to making new cameras than repairing them. I can understand them, I only hope that this experiences will serve all Fuji around the world to improve their support service. At this time, following your serials numbers, this issue appeared on 61M05XXX and 61M06XXX series
  6. Hi folks got some news from my Fuji rep about this issue. Unfortunately this issue it's an hardware issue, so it can't be fixed by an update firmware, You have to send it to Fuji services for check repair... This was confirmed by fujifilm france when they got mine into their services. The issue it's apparently the Curtain shutter issue that get stuck before the turn off on message appeared. Unfortunately for me, my camera it's still the first and the only one case in France they got, that's why it takes much time to be resolve fastly... It's been two weeks now since they got mine, I've got some news last Monday, they will exchange mine when they'll got one since they still don't know when they'll get the detached pieces to repair it. In the waiting process they'll send me a loan camera in the next days or next week. What is your serial number guys for listing what series are concerned, mine is 61M05XXX Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  7. When I got mine never experienced the heating issue even shooting intensively for 2 hours... But I got another one issue, the curtain shutter issue following with the turn off on message as explained in the other thread. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk

  9. You get your camera replace? I'm not lucky as you are, fujifilm france aren't going to make me an exchange judging where it goes... Still not have any news from them...
  10. Hi Folks. I've got the same issue as you, shutter curtain stuck followed with the "Turn Off/On" message. I sent back my X-Pro 2 to Fujifilm France for a check/repair last week. Fujifilm France told me that my camera is the first and unique case at this time in France with this issue, and they cannot repair it at this time 'cause they don't have any detached pieces right now (pretty obvious for a new camera launch...). Also they don't know when it will get repaired, it could take a month or more... I ask them if there's anyway to get a standard exchange, judging by their answer I don't think I'll got any... They told me they got two solutions for me : - They ship me my camera back, and when they got the detached pieces, I'll return them for the repair. - They say they can provide me a loan camera during the whole repair process, but they don't have any... For a standard exchange, as they explained me, they have to get the approval from Fujifilm Japan... They call me back this week... Wait and see...
