  1. When using a manual zoom lens, what focal length should I input in the manual lens option Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. What are the thoughts on the Rokinon 12mm Vs. the Fuji 10–24 in terms of image quality? I understand that with the Rokinon you get a fixed focal length and no auto focus. I have the Fuji 18–135 and three M42 mount lenses: 28mm f2.8, 50mm f1.8 and 70-210mm f4–5.6. I think all I am missing is an ultra wide. I don't have the budget to drop $800 on the Fuji 10–24. If the Fuji is really worth the price, should I wait till I find a good deal on eBay? Thanks all.
  3. I got rid of all my canon gear except for the EFS 10-18mm lens for which I bought the fotodiox adapter on amazon. For some reason, the lens does focus to infinity at 10mm. It only focuses if I get very close to an object (at 10mm). At 18mm however, it focuses to infinity just fine. Any ideas why this is? Camera setting: Manual Mode Canon lens is also on manual focus I input the focal length of 10mm in the menu under lens mount adapter setting
  4. Thanks! That is quite a small profile.
  5. Thanks RadBadTAd. Would you mind sharing a photo of your X-T1 with the 35mm Voightlander?
  6. I have a few M42 mount legacy lenses that I plan to use with my X-T1. I purchased a fotodiox M42 to fuji x mount adapter which is very well made, but increases the distance from the sensor to the lens (by about 2 inches). Does that mean that a 28mm lens will be more than the 35mm equivalent of 44mm?
  7. After much consideration, I pulled the trigger on the black X-T1. With the 18–135 lens the price difference is $500 (Amazon US). That can easily be put into another lens (10-24). Ultimately, the pictures that you make triumph what the camera physically looks like. I feel like Fuji can easily have made them the same price as they did with the XT-10.
  8. I have been wanting the graphite silver X-T1 for a long time. Now that I am ready to pull the trigger, I find myself wondering if its worth the extra dollars. Besides looking a lot nicer/ sexy, is there any other benefit to going with the silver? Overtime, will the coating deteriorate less and and maybe perhaps not strip as easily as it might on the black? Really appreciate the help.
