Hi folks, The sunrise did not reach its highest point yet. It was 5:45 AM in the morning and I was already inside the photo hide, where I was waiting for the raptors to come down. I looked up to the dark blue sky and saw a big venue of vultures coming down. Soon, Griffon vultures and Black vultures arrived and start fighting for carrion. The Crepuscular rays didn’t cover the land yet and the dark vulture shapes were dancing in the darkness. Behind the rocks a red fox appeared timidly, observing the vultures and looking for some carrion to catch. As soon as I saw the fox, all my interest was instantly focused on him. Watching a wildlife documentary is probably the closest experience to being hidden inside of a photo hide while wild animals are behaving in their own habitat. Hi folks, If someone asks me what is the most beautiful natural place in Spain, without hesitation I will always say: Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park in the Pyrenees of Huesca province, Aragon, Spain. This place is the natural border between France and Spain, a huge mountain range which divides these two beautiful countries. In France is also located the French Pyrenees, the natural continuation of the Spanish Pyrenees. I just published a new article on my site about Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. Hi folks, Finally, after a long wait, I had the opportunity to meet and take pictures of the beautiful and enigmatic Little Owl (Athene noctua), one of my favorite European birds, and probably the cutest bird I’ve ever seen. This little fluffy raptor measures around 21 cm in length with a wingspan of 55 cm (both male and female). Its weigh is about 170 grams. Its plumage color is brown and grey spotted with white. Sometimes dreams come true... and they can me magical too. I spent an unforgettable night in the Moroccan Sahara desert sleeping in a Berber desert camp, watching the desert starts and the majestic Milky Way, singing local Berber song around the fire camp and eating their traditional food. Berbers are very friendly and polite. Their social structure is tribal and they ride camels as only transport. The majority of Berber tribes currently have men as their leaders, that’s why I didn’t see any woman around. They invited me to enjoy the fire camp to listen to their folk songs. I took advantage of the situation and started to take pictures of the magic atmosphere I was taking part of. You will do it well, just don't forget so shoot in AF continuous Mode in Fast burst, and don't forget to select in the lens the option 5m - ∞ too

.In the sky, another species of raptors came down too. Black kites and Red kites started fighting and chasing each other’s in order to defend their air spaces, trying to dominate the other species. It was absolutely beautiful, as I could see how dominant Red kites are. A couple of Common buzzards came down too, but both were chasing and tried to be expulsed by Black kites, while Red kites were trying to expulse Black kites, what a strategic air flight!... Hi folks, Last sunday I was shooting big raptors such vultures, kites and eagles. We left some carrion in front of the photo hide to attract them. Suddenly two beautiful young foxes came from the bush and ate some carrion. After this they started playing in front of me. They were about 15 meters far from me. Around 1 PM we got near to the Bee-eaters colony in the forest. The colony was located in a huge long sandy bank, where Bee-eaters build their nests in small mud tunnels.
