  1. Hello guys, I started to notice color banding or artifacts on my footage. They are visible on first few frames and after that, they disappear. I have NR turned off, I see it only in flog if my eyes dont decieve me. Attached photos are screens from davinci resolve and they are few frames apart. I just used lut from fuji from flog 2c to rec.709. I cant see it while looking at screen, it appears only after I look at recorded video even on camera screen. Camera is updated to latest firmware (7.20) Settings are: Flog 2c, 4k 16:9, 50p, H.265 Long GOP, 4:2:2 10bit in mov at 50Mbps, WB is set to 5600k It appears also on other bitrates and also on ALLintra I really dont know what to do with it. I cant remember if it was happening before, or if it is recent.
  2. This morning I was trying to shoot a portrait with my XH2s and my Paul C Buff studio strobes. I tried both the Cyber Commander and Cyber Sync. Neither of them would trigger the strobe through the hot shoe, although they would fire from the tranciever when I would hit the test button. My only way around it was switching to my XT4. I've fired my Flashpoint R2 on the XH2s and used the flashpoint R2-T on it multiple times in both manual and TTL mode so I know the hotshot is functional. Curious if anyone else has had this problem. Don't know if there is some setting in camera I missed or if it is an issue on the Fuji side (that maybe can be fixed with firmware in the future) or on the Paul C Buff side.
  3. Hi, I'm using Angelbird AV PRO CFexpress SE 512GB in X-H2s, everything set up correctly (Media rec/Proxy "ON"), recording in ProRes422, there is even small indicator "PXY" on main screen when recording, but I can't find proxy files anywhere on the card. Am I doing something wrong?
  4. I would love for Fuji to implement more apect ratios in both 4k and 6k mode. The lack of even a 16:9 mode in full resolution is a weird omission. We could also use 2.35:1, 2:1, etc Anamorphic support is something I’m surprised made it into the GFX100 II before the X-H2s. At the very least 2x and 1.3x desqueeze would be much appreciated, but there are more and more 1.5x, 1.6x and 1.8x anamorphic options on the market. If this happens I hope they add the option to desqueeze from various aspect ratios like 4:3, 9:16, 1:1 and 6:5 (I assume 3:2 would be a given 😉) For being Fuji’s most video-centric camera, Fuji sure has left videographers in the dust
  5. Hello, This past weekend I shot a weekend-long event. I took the X-H2S and the X-T30II as a back up to the X-H2S. The latter never failed me once, even with the brutal heat (though I got the overheating warning literally in the last 15 seconds of the last day of shooting). One problem I did have is that I wasn't expecting to have such a flurry of events, so in documentary/press-style I had to shoot very fast in rapid succession at times at night. My Godox (which I am starting to hate) did fail me. The recycle time was hit or miss, sometimes fast sometimes up to 5 seconds. I changed batteries twice, yet I got the overheating warning a few times and had to turn it off and on. Eventually I took out the X-T30II and used the back up flash. I am guessing for these evening events, I'll probably need to opt for a lithium battery-operated flash in the future/different brand. Does anyone have a recommendation? I don't usually shoot with flash, or at least I haven't since my Nikon DSLR days.
  6. I'm debating the best CF option. I have an Angel Bird AV PRO SE 512gb. I've been using it since I got my XH2S last September and its worked fine. I Also have The Delkin Black 325gb I got with rebate when the camera came out. I havent opened it though because I was just thinking of selling it. I know the Delkin is supposed to be better suited to the Fuji's but does anyone know if I will really notice? Sure transfer speed to the computer will be faster but the Angle Bird is still pretty quick for me. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks on advance.
