Hi everyone, There was a topic here about ttl triggers from roboshoot some months ago and was very curious about them : I always used manual settings for the flashes, but now, with two small infants that won't keep still, it is next to impossible to keep them in my kill zone (... I mean, correct light exposure zone ), and I had to break the bank to pay for some ttl triggers that would help resolve this issue. I received a set of those last friday, so I guess they are for real, and shipping now . I haven't had the time to test them fully, just the learning curve for someone who never used ttl flashes before. So far, I can synch at 1/250 with the Xpro / XT1. Have not tried the x100s yet. Tested with a nikon sb600 and a fuji ef42 and the transmitters do work It IS nice to be able to control all settings from the mobile phone. In france at least, VAT + taxes were about 25% of the total price. I'll test them in a more serious fashion during this week. If you have specific questions, I'll try to reply, time allowing (this is code for "if the kids are not on my back" --- literally). If any of you have an advice on a flash, please feel free (I'm hesitating between nissin i40 and youngnuo 568, i don't know if the price differential is justified, given that the more expensive has less power --- and after the price tag plus taxes, price of the next flash is definitely a subject of importance). By the way, I have a nissin Di866 (nikon mount) rarely used, that is not compatible with this system. If anyone has a compatible flash and would be interested in a trade (or just an interest in buying this one actually), feel free to contact me. Happy new year to everyone !
