I find the supplied X30 lens cap unwieldy and am going to source a stepping ring and then a more common clip fit style lens cap but I am having a problem establishing exactly the diameter of the thread surrounding the lens. Can anybody help please?

Hello, I am new to this forum but not to Fuji digital cameras - my first was a MX 1700 with 1.5 megapixels. I progressed via various Fuji bridge cameras to my first digital SLR, the Fuji Pro 1 SLR which is still working fine as is my Fuji Pro 5 SLR. Due to my age and health problems I am investigating the benefits of mirrorless with an X Pro and an X30 and am very pleased so far.
