About Me

After years of shooting with 35mm film SLRs loaded with (Fujichrome) slide film, I switched to digital photography almost completely, at first with a Fujifilm S5 Pro and a bunch of Nikkors, and then with an X-E1 and three XF prime lenses (14, 35 and 90).

 

Yet, I still enjoy working 'the old fashioned way', slowly and painstakingly perfecting the framing, and then patiently waiting for that fleeting moment when the light is perfect in all its glory.

 

I am a firm believer in 'getting it right in camera', and I mostly shoot JPEGs and do little to no post processing at all.

 

After I trip the shutter, for me the magic is over. Just like in the days of slide film.
