  1. Though I'd say it's mostly Fuji's fault; this way of implementing the profiles is quite confusing at first, and besides unnecessarily complex IMO...

    I do not fully agree with that. Including lens profiles in the raw files ensures that they are available even for new lenses. It also gives the ability to include an individual profile for each lens if the profiles are stored in the lens firmware. I have no idea if Fuji does this or if all lenses of one type use the same profile.

    What I really would like, is an option in Lightroom to ignore the included lens profile.

  2. I don't see any advantage in that Pentax tilt screen over the solution on the X-T1. I really like my tilt screen and it is one of the two major reasons not to by an X-Pro 2 (the other is the small EVF on the X-Pro 2). But I need it only for macro and sometimes on a tripod and in these cases I'm fine with the X-T1.

  3. they are more people that want high quality 4k video in their X-T2 than those who do not.  Video capability does not affect photo performance in any way.   Your reason for not wanting video is completely ignorant.

    I think you are wrong. None of my friends using fuji cameras is interested in video. The question was how we could use the video button for something more important.
  4. For me that would be a bad idea. I love my X-T1 for its combination of compact size and good handling. Some may need a battery grip when using large lenses, other for longer professional shootings. But in my case one battery is usually enough. Last week it even survived more than one and a half hour shooting northern lights at -20 degrees Celsius, with still two bars capacity. Of course I always have at least on spare battery with me, but I don't need a grip for it.

  5. Could somebody please check if camera remote for Android is working? I can connect to the camera and remote control is working as usual. But in no way I can transfer images, connection is allways closed immediately. Some time and a few versions ago this worked without problems. I have tested with X-T1 firmware 4.10/4.20/4.21 connecting to a Nexus 5 running Android 6.01 and a Sony Tablet Z with Android 5.1.

  6. I don't see any mention of 273 AF points anywhere.

    AF frame selection

    Single point AF : EVF / LCD / OVF : 11x7/21x13(Changeable size of AF frame among 5 types),

    21x13 = 273

    But these are apparently CDAF. It is not clear to me how many PDAF points there are (7x7, 7x11 ?).

  7. Same here with my one year old X-T1. All images from the last two days show one white pixel (reproducable with lens cap on, normal exposure 1/30, ISO 200). Unfortunately I bought it used and while have the original receipt from Amazon.de, I'm not sure, Fujifilm support will handle it as waranty case.

    The Problem has been solved by Fujifilm Germany on waranty. It took two weeks including shipment, about five working days for testing and repair, including firmware update to 4.10. So for me everything worked very well, no problem buying an X-Pro 2 or X-T2 next year.
