  1. What little I have used it has been handheld. I found it reasonably comfortable to use however I was strapping it to the lens mount on a decent harness. I am developing an interest in wildlife photography so I imagine I will purchase another tripod to suit that better but definitely no issues walking and shooting.
  2. I purchased one recently however I haven’t had much time with it in the field yet. Incredible reach, clear and not too heavy come to mind so far. I haven’t purchased any of large zooms but do have the 200 f2 and tc.
  3. The 50-140 2.8 is a great lens. I mainly use mine for rugby on the shorter range shots on an xh2s and it works well. It is also handy for event work from a distance.
  4. Enjoy Hamad502. Those are great lenses.
  5. Just reading the great advice shared here. I would probably say that pw-pix resonates most with me for the size, quality and low light ability. I haven’t used the 70-300 as I have other needs, but if you watch Andy Mumford, one of the few YouTubers I watch, he seems to like it. Hope this helps.
  6. I used this lens a little on the xh2 and xh2s and more recently on an xt5. I saw the new one today when I was picking up a loan lens and whilst it is definitely lighter in my hand and I am told might be slightly better optically, I wouldn’t dream of changing. The first one is great and meets my varied needs but like anything else, it’s entirely up to you. Personally I tend to ignore the influencers. No disrespect, but they’re just not for me. Also some people don’t like the xh2 design so you might want to consider that before moving from xt. Personally I’m happy with both xh and xt bodies. I haven’t had the pleasure of an xt4 but I understand it’s a great camera. I suppose it depends on what you want to do with it. Hope this helps a little. Ultimately it’s your money and your choice.
  7. Jesse. I just joined. If you are still interested, I shoot sport and other stuff with two xhs2 bodies. They’re a good job. I have an xt5 which I use for non sport and I think it is good too. Too be honest, most cameras these days are great. If it is fast moving photography you’re into, it is more unforgiving. The xh2s’s are a good bet. I have wasted way too much money over the years selling good gear to buy newer gear so take it all with a pinch of salt!! If you can, try them out. If you can avoid the need for the stacked sensor, Fuji have some other marvellous options. Cheers, Sam.
  8. Hi folks. I use two xh2s for rugby and other genres. I use a body attached to the 70-200 hanging by my side for close in and the 200f2 with tele for longer range. When changing quickly from long range to short the camera can be non responsive if it is left for a while and can take a few seconds to jump into life. This is enough to miss the important shots at times. I have the auto power off on off and performance on boost. I generally have it on C1 with 1600 ss, f2.8 and automatic iso 160-3200 with single point afc. Am I expecting too much? Does anyone else experience this? Is there a way to resolve? If anyone has any thoughts I would be grateful to hear. Many thanks in advance. Sam.
  9. Greybeard, thank you. It was sports finder mode! No idea when, how or why I did that. I really don’t use much in the menu system. My image size is now back to Large 3:2. Thanks again, Sam.
  10. Hi folks. I use XH2S’s and at the end of a rugby match I somehow changed the aspect size from large to medium. I assume there is a button or something similar that can do this? I tried to change back on the menu however it doesn’t show an option for large. I am hoping someone knows how to change this back? Many thanks, Sam.
