I recently purchased a Fuji X-T5 and updated it to firmware version 4.10.
I also bought the DJI RS3 Mini gimbal after reading that it is compatible with the X-T5.
However, when I tried to connect the two devices via Bluetooth, they wouldn’t pair.
I contacted Fuji’s customer support, and they confirmed that the X-T5 can only connect via Bluetooth to their Tripod Grip TG-BT1.
To connect the X-T5 with the DJI RS3 Mini, a specific USB-C to USB-C cable is required, which is provided by DJI but not included in the RS3 Mini kit. The additional cost is €19.
Thankfully, DJI has kindly promised to send me the cable free of charge—kudos to DJI!
I’ve also written to Fuji, and I’m waiting to see their response.
